1. Driver Eligibility & Documents
The primary renter and any designated authorized drivers must be at least 23 years of age and hold an unendorsed driver's license valid for a minimum of 2 continuous years. International visitors must present a valid passport and international driving permit if the national license is not printed in English.
2. Security Deposit & Refund Policy
The refundable security deposit ($120 to $400 depending on vehicle class) is 100% refundable. Deposits are held during the rental period and processed for full refund to the original payment method within 24 to 48 hours following vehicle return inspection in good order.
3. Daily Kilometre Allowance & Fuel Policy
Standard daily rentals include 250 km per rental day, accumulated across the duration of your trip. Excess kilometers are billed at nominal per-kilometer rates. All vehicles are dispatched with a recorded fuel tank level and must be returned with the same fuel level.
4. Cross-Border Regulations
Cross-border trips into Mozambique, Botswana, Zambia, or South Africa require prior written authorization and cross-border documentation (Interpol clearance and regional third-party insurance). Notice of at least 48 hours is required.
5. 24/7 Breakdown & Replacement Guarantee
In the unlikely event of a mechanical breakdown, Yarutso provides 24/7 nationwide roadside assistance and immediate dispatch of a replacement vehicle to ensure your travel schedule remains uninterrupted.
